Diagnostic tool for the VW Golf Mk4. Insert to be put in place of the flaps in the air vent.
If you plan to use the “liquid” gauge on a diesel car the please see the information below.
The liquid will also work well with stage 1 and stage 2 remapped cars but user should be aware that the diesel ECUs have limits that are applied to the MAF figures as well as the Torque output. If your car generates greater torque than this limit or consumes more air than the MAF limit then the liquid will not show the actual values but those reported by the engine ECU. It is likely that these limits will only be reached if cars have been fitted with “big” turbos. For example the normal torque output of the Golf 130PS is 228 lb-ft, and after a remap will be about 265 lb-ft and the maximum torque limit is set to 303 lb-ft so will work correctly on the liquid.
